JPRO Network Blog: Great Rewards

“I feel that the greatest reward for doing is the opportunity to do more.” — Jonas Salk

JPRO held its annual “Academy Awards” ceremony during the recent JFNA General Assembly. This program is the culmination of a careful process during which nominations are submitted along with substantive support materials. There is an arduous review and selection process that rates and ranks attributes. Members of the selection committee are both inspired and humbled by the process of reviewing nominations of truly outstanding candidates. We choose between wonderful and exceptional colleagues and the decisions are not easy to make. To be nominated is, in itself, a distinction and recognition of achievement.

There are several reasons why JPRO considers our Awards Program to be significant. Award Winners help set the standard for excellence. They demonstrate what is the best and significant achievements in our field. By recognizing exceptional talent we also praise and express gratitude for their accomplishments and the contributions of all professionals. Recognition acknowledges that professionals sustain and elevate the vitality of our communities. And, certainly not least of all, we say to the award winners—“Wow, keep up the good work!”

Whether it is a new professional on the job for little more than a year or a seasoned pro working for decades, we know that our award winners still have much more to contribute. In acknowledging the contributions outstanding professionals are making, we want to thank, encourage and stimulate their continued achievements. To all of our award winners we say “Great work! We can’t wait to see what follows.”

Kol HaKavod to the 2015 JPRO Award Winners and to all those nominated!
