JPRO Network: A commitment to connecting the field, lifelong learning, and meaningful professional development
Throughout each year, JPRO Network facilitates programs that nurture and continue to inspire the important work of professionals in Jewish organizations throughout North America. For example, JPRO hosts a continuing education webinar on topics of interest to our constituency such as the situation in Israel, the next phase of Jewish community leadership, or skill-set building workshops, such as strengthening one’s communication skills or improving one’s resume. JPRO provides these webinars to advance the field and introduce learning opportunities for further exploration and development.
Additionally, JPRO supports both in-person and online programs of torah l’shma (learning for the sake of learning), where scholars engage in learning around Jewish holidays or text – as we believe that every professional grows and appreciates the opportunity to engage with the larger Jewish tradition, providing a framework and deeper understanding of their work in the local and national stage. Ultimately, we aim for each program to further solidify the network of Jewish professionals, fostering relationships within and between communities that strengthen job-satisfaction and retention of talent within our field.
